Essential Driving Training (EDT)
Is mandatory for all learner drivers in Ireland. It comprises 12 lessons and aims to improve road safety. Our EDT lessons is delivered in one or two hours sessions.
Pre-Test Driving Lessons
Are designed to help learners prepare for their driving test by identifying and addressing areas for improvement. Practice sessions are designed to brush up your driving skills. Our practice lessons are delivered in 2h sessions.

Our driving students have the option of choosing a car with a manual or automatic transmission for learning to drive.
Both types of transmissions have their advantages and disadvantages, and the final choice depends on the student’s preferences and needs.
Those who want more control over the car prefer a manual transmission, while others who are looking for easier learning and handling may choose an automatic transmission.
When choosing a car, it is a good idea to consult a driving instructor and test both types of transmissions to make the right choice.
MANUAL TRANSMISSION
A manual transmission (MT), also known as manual gearbox, standard transmission is a multi-speed motor vehicle transmission system, where gear changes require the driver to manually select the gears by operating a gear stick and clutch.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
An automatic transmission (sometimes abbreviated AT) is a multi-speed transmission used in motor vehicles that does not require any input from the driver to change forward gears under normal driving conditions.

The minimum age requirement to start driving lessons is 17 years old. Outside of the age requirement you also need to pass the Driving Theory Test and get your learner permit from NDLS.
We offer both manual and automatic gear vehicles for driving lessons.
For the convenience of our students, we deliver our driving lessons in 2h sessions. This means that during one session you will complete 2 EDT lessons.
All of our driving instructors are RSA-approved and have extensive training and experience in teaching driving.
Yes, we offer pick-up and drop-off services for driving lessons within a certain radius of our driving school. Please contact us for more details.
All you need to bring for your first lesson is your learner’s permit.
To apply for the test, you need to complete 12 EDT lessons and have your learner permit for at least 6 months.
We understand that unexpected events may occur, and we offer flexible rescheduling options. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a lesson.
Yes. At Bogdan Driving School we work together with our students to be as flexible an accommodating as we can so you can fit your lessons in your busy schedule. We offer evenings and weekend sessions, subject to availability.
